Well, I start this interview series to interview every awesome blogger to motivate my readers that blogging can change their life.
Well, i am very feeling very proud that he give me his most valuable time for this interview.
So let’s start this Interview With Syed Faizan Ali.
1. Please tell us about yourself and how you got into blogging?
First of all, thank you Sharjeel for giving me this chance of becoming the voice of your blog and finding me worthy enough to be interviewed. I belong to Karachi, I am currently 21 years six days old, and currently a final year student of Bachelors in Computer Engineering.
I started blogging when I was 12 years old, and I had no idea about blogs or blogging. At that time I was a very active member of an Urdu forum, where I wrote more than 500 Urdu tutorials on different topics like Photoshop, HTML CSS, Information Technology and software reviews. All these Urdu tutorials helped me a lot in first learning and then teaching it to others. This was the prime time when I polished my skills by learning several tools and languages which later on helped me in blogging.
When I was 14, I left that Urdu forum due to some issues with its management. Later on, I started my Urdu forum which failed miserably. Even at this time, I had no idea about blog or blogs.
When I was 15, my family was facing financial issues. Oh, Did I forgot to mention? I belong to a middle-class family. Since my dad has lost his job I had to do something to support my family. Luckily, I met a friend who told me about “how he is making money with blogger.com.” The term “Money” developed my interest, and since blogger.com was risk-free with zero investment, I thought to give it a chance.
When I was 15, I started a Blog where I use to share Free/Paid Android games. Within few months I was topping the search of Google for several keywords as people search a lot of “Paid APK Files.” Later that year, I earned my first income from AdSense, and it was $100 (10,000 Pakistani Rupees).
However, my happiness couldn’t last much longer. When I was 16, my AdSense account was banned due to sharing “Paid content for Free.” I was about to receive a $350 cash out from AdSense, but it was too late.
I was lost, dishearten, and even thought to delete my blog (Which was still receiving thousands of visits on a daily basis). My only mistake was that, I didn’t read the AdSense Terms of Service (Which majority of us don’t). At that time, I realized I would be starting a blog where I will share tutorials, guides, and tips so that they don’t commit the same mistake that I did when I started. This was the time when MyBloggerLab.com came into existence, and since then we all know where it stands.
2. What is the focus of your blog and why did you choose that niche?
My All blogs focus on providing Quality content; I don’t mind if I receive less revenue. Your readers and customers must be your priority. I believe, you should select a niche that interest you the most.
For example, I love computers, technology, and computer languages, so it will be easier for me to write articles on these topics. Therefore, I choose those niches to whom I am familiar with.

3. How are you currently monetizing your blog traffic? (Adsense, product, paid ads)
At MyBloggerLab, we are using BuySellads, Affiliates, Paid Advertisements and Paid Content.
At Templateism, we are using BuySellads, Selling Templates and Paid Content.
4. What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started blogging?
I made a lot of mistakes when I started, and those mistakes helped me in learning new things. So, if I hadn’t made any mistake at that time, I won’t be here today.
5. What’s your rate conversion optimization technique For Mybloggerlab?
I believe in KISS “KEEP IT SIMPLE SILLY.” The more you simplify things, the easier for you it becomes. Think the more you give importance to your readers the more they will give you back. I just focus on providing great resources to readers for FREE. By providing them free resources you earn their trust and once that trust becomes stronger, they will be buying your products. “We’re using this strategy on Templateism” And almost thousands of blogs have copied this idea from us :).
6. When do you start making Templates for Blogger Blogs?
In 2014, I founded Templateism to provide frustrated Blogger users a new perspective to see even more beautiful and highly-functional blogger templates. My First template got 50,000 hits in just two weeks.
7. What’s Your Thought about WordPress can we see MybloggerLab on WordPress in future. Just want to know?
I Love WP; I have several blogs running on WordPress which I happen to release to the public very soon.
I don’t think MyBloggerLab needs WordPress. It just needs my time and attention :).
8. What are three blogs that you visit almost daily?
Honestly speaking, I am so busy with the engineering that sometimes I forget I am a Blogger & Entrepreneur. Lately, I have not been visiting any blog on a daily basis.
9. How do you keyword research for your articles? Do you rely on some tools or you do it manually?
I rarely do keyword research because I believe with keyword research you take away the natural way of writing an article out of the equation. I write about any topic that comes to my mind, and I never used any tools whatsoever.
10. Peoples usually say Google ranks up only those articles that are having high-quality content, but I have many websites with creepy content ranking on top. Why does this happen?
Even the demo sites we create to showcase our templates for Templateism, ranks way better than many other sites. It is funny that how Google ranks some websites. But, I am sure after a week or month those creepy sites won’t be on top. They might be at the moment, but not forever. It’s a matter of time, Google rechecks the content and corrects its mistakes.
11. What is important for you? Getting one no follow a link from high authority websites with DA 50+ or getting do follow links from websites with DA 20 or 30?
I think quality always beats quantity.
12. Can you give us three recommended tools/services that you use with your blogging? (Search tools, keywords, content, social)
I only use Grammarly and GingerSoftware for Grammar check.
13. What advice would you have for someone who is just starting with their first blog?
I would say, “Just be you.” Don’t follow others, just feel your instinct and do what you love. If you fail, try again. If you fail again, try one more time. No matter how many times you fail, always believe in “Never Give Up.” Because getting success in blogging in not simple as it looks, it takes your days and nights to be successful.
14. What’s the best advice or tip you’ve discovered about blogging since getting started?
As I said in the previous question. “When you give up, you lose. But if you keep on trying, one day you’ll win”. Same goes on for life, blogging, etc.
15. If you only had $100 to start a new blog, how would you use it?
I will buy a domain for $10, save the rest of money and start a blog on Blogger.com
16. What you think about me and my blog?
I strongly believe Sharjeel is a talented, passionate and dedicated blogger. He on the right track and I believe if he works a tad bit harder he’ll soon be among the Top bloggers or Pakistan. I Wish him the very best of luck for his future.
