Suppose you walk into a bar and you see a beautiful girl.
You liked it, you’re sitting at the counter having a drink, and you’re alone. Your instinct calls you …
Think this is my chance, I will try to conquer it.
Then you cheer up. You go, you go to her and say: Hello, how are you? I would like to kiss you.
I encourage you to say that you most likely will not get it. It’s pretty obvious, right?
Well, I think for many people who want to sell on the internet is not.
I tell this story because in both cases we deal with people, and this is something that many sometimes forget.
Imagine, you meet a potential client and say: – Hello, how are you? I would like to sell you this product.
Most probably as in the previous case, you will not get the best results.
The person on the other side can think:
- But … Where did this one come from? What is he doing here?
- Why should we buy your product?
- Or, would you not think something similar?
To understand that in general, we deal with people and that whatever the case, nature, the way of thinking and reasoning is the same.
Unfortunately for many who want to have visibility to form an audience and sell their products or services online, they not understand this.
This leads them to make serious mistakes that cause them to abandon their venture sooner, ending their journey.
So here I will tell you what you can do to make your subscribers become customers.

The vast majority of your visits do not return to the blog unless they remember it
Did you know that of all visits you have The big majority does not return by themselves to your blog?
Unless you start some action to get them back.
I think it is very important to have a Lead Magnet. Where in exchange for a gift that we make to our reader with a dose of content that solves a problem, they leave us an email in return.
Section for beginners
If what you read in the paragraph above sounds like you’re lost half Chinese, and I recommend you read this post which explains well that is a Lead Magnet.
To optimize the conversion, you can keep an eye on these plugins; Harsh Agrawal tells you without mincing words how to optimize the subscription forms on your blog.
If you still feel lost, I do not want to leave you any doubt.
I leave below two examples of Lead Magnet so you can take advantage of.
- You can download the ebook Rebecca Churt that will help you have a blog optimized and trouble – free.
- In another case for the completion of this post Read the Strategies to Increase Visibility and position yourself as an expert. This tells you the steps that I follow to prepare this release as do the best bloggers.
Are you tapping into 100% of your list’s potential?
It is key to have a relationship with our subscriber list to remind you that we exist and to say:
Hello here I am, I have an amazing content that interests you.
That if you have to provide much value content that is useful and solutions the problems of your audience.
You can do this very easily with a weekly newsletter, but …
What about the content you already have published? You will not be squeezing 100% of the game from your list.
Much focus on attracting subscribers, but what do I do with the ones I already have
Lately, I’ve read a lot about how to optimize your blog for a better conversion.
But I have found much more content about that than build relationships, loyalty and gained the trust of your subscribers to become your customers.
Soon you will have more subscribers if you do not create a system to sell your products or services.
I’m not saying that optimizing your page to get more subscribers is not important.
But many times among many things we waste time giving priority to things that later we have a very large list, but we do not know how to take advantage of it.
So I think it’s very important to have in mind a strategy to let your subscribers know your best content and know which is the best way you can help.
The best way to accomplish this is through a sequence of emails with our best content and contributions constant value to offer to our subscribers.
If you already have defined your product or offer a service, you should have it if or yes. And if you do not have it yet you can use it to investigate what are the most frequent problems that your audience has and create a product.
I think many people forget or just do not put it on your priorities and launch a new product without announcing previously having had little contact with his list above.
This makes it much more difficult to sell, why you do not know or do not remember who you are.
I regret to say that your work more than good but it will be very difficult for someone to buy it from you if you do not know how to show it.
Create a relationship with your subscribers and build trust
I think after giving the best service and attention to your current customers.
Create a relationship of trust and add value to your readers with epic content, it is the most important thing you can do because they are the ones who are more likely than can help and become your future customers.
That’s what will make them then buy your products or hire your services if you ever managed to help them and created that relationship of trust.
To achieve this, you should be clear about some points such as:
- The content you bring must always follow the same thread and be closely related to your product or service. This will make anyone interested in it because it needs your help and be the perfect marriage for your info products or service.
- Nothing better than winning trust with your reader and there is a mutual attraction, really providing great value for solving a specific problem. Anyone need to take another step not hesitate to buy your product or service if what you gave before has solved their problems.
- If you receive many questions or doubts about the ones you write, do not be scared. This will help to have more clear what problems your audience and reach them better. No doubt is knowing what is the most painful to your readers, is that you can create a better product for them, who are the ones who will finally buy it later.
There are Bloggers who do it very well What are you waiting for to do it yourself?
I have noticed that many bloggers do not have well chewed the use of autoresponders or those who use them do not use it 100% leaving much juice on their mailing list.
If our goal is to automate our business to design a different lifestyle, the central idea of this post I think is key.
Because I want to give you some examples of bloggers who do very well and do not know what you are waiting to be the next on this list.
1. Feel like the video?
First I will quote the blog Mashable where they give tips on pro-blogging in that you need to utilize.
Also, I have heard Vishen Lakhiani in this interview say that one of the services that gave him more gladly pay was her autoresponder, I think you know because it says.
If you are interested in being a blogger pro and you do this course, I have no doubt that you will not forget him.
You will see that many things that I am telling you here apply them in your course and your sequence of emails. I encourage you to analyze mainly the emails sent to you beyond the course.
I know I’m a fuck, I started by the most difficult example to run and carry out, very few blogger have a course of that style.
But rest assured, I’ll give you examples for all tastes and stages that your blog is in.
2. Did you start recently and think your content is scarce?
Now I’m going to talk about a blog that started less than a year ago and is breaking it. It is a blog of Bamidele. Called Writersinc
In his sequence, we are told in an orderly way how he got to have more than thousands of subscribers in less than eight months and how he came to create his business blog to leave without a date of return.
Onalabusi sends us after subscribing, a mini-course where he gives us a little chicha with the best contents of his blog.
That if I think it’s called squeeze the most of the mailing list, certainly the most important asset you have in your blog.
With this example, I am showing that if we dedicate ourselves to think of a simple sequence where we include our best contents, that can take us the same time that we dedicate to write a post of 3,000 words.
We need to look within our content, see what worked best were those and sort ideas on how to deliver your audience. A good idea would be to rank your posts by a number of visits.
Everything will depend on the shoot that has your blog. I am totally convinced that you can do it from the first months of life of your blog.
At least having it on your radar from the first day will help you to have it well synchronized with content creation.
3. Do you dare to create an automatic sequence of email marketing? Focus on your product
To finish with a final example, I will talk about NichePursuits blog by Spencer Haws.
I’m going to analyze an interesting point to keep in mind about this sequence.
In this mini-course Spencer Haws introduces us to each class concepts about niche site guide and in a class are his best post about email marketing.
You will see that their course is very related to one of its products, a premium e-book on how to sell your products with email marketing.
Without a doubt realizing this approach leads us to get better-qualified prospects and I tell you that this makes the difference.
You will not have much success if you offer a mini-course on how to create your blog in WordPress and then your product is about copywriting.
Your conversion will be terrible, I am giving an absurd example to understand better, but you understand where we go.
The least viable autoresponder
Do not worry; you do not have to start doing a video course right now, or create a super course if you do not have it.
I am for doing things well “Lean.” Sure you have heard of the methodology “Lean Startup”. So that you do not lose and give you an idea of what I speak, I will tell you in a paragraph.
This methodology is how to test and validate ideas directly with the market, which in itself would be our audience. To be able to execute them in a better way with few resources but proving with real facts and always validating everything with the answer that our potential clients give us.
You’ll be wondering where do I want to go?
I’m going to leave you some points so you can get straight to the point:
- To put a sequence in your autoresponder does not need you to have a super course to offer as do the great bloggers or have a hundred posts in your blog.
- If you need to have a minimum of structured and ordered content so you can offer your readers. With a minimum of 10 posts I assure you that you can do it.
- If you need to have a clear idea of your info product or service, so you can start to shape it.
- With sending a free resource when subscribing and a weekly newsletter, although not bad, I can assure you that you are not squeezing to the maximum the juice that you can take to your mailing list, and you will be losing a lot of sales.
- Returning to the example of the ten posts minimum I assumed you have on your blog if you just started and took as average that a reader enters and can get to read about two posts at most. We’re talking about only 20% of the content you’ve created. As we grow and publish more content, we can improve the sequence.
Which autoresponder should I use?
I have been talking about autoresponders for some time, but do not talk about which email marketing service you should use.
The vast majority of autoresponder services are paid for and start at $ 10 a month for up to 500 subscribers. As subscribers increase, so does their price =).
I will name you the services I believe are the most reliable and are available to an entrepreneur who has a blog that is MailChimp, AWeber, and GetResponse.
There is also an option with free autoresponder up to Unlimited subscribers and 90,000 mailings per month that are Send in blue. Mrs p has written a very good guide about Sendinblue that will be very useful.
For my part, I tell you that I’m using Sendinblue and I’m very happy. I am currently working on my sequence and reinforcing the contents of my lead magnet and telling you the strategies I am following the progress of the blog.
Drop-by-drop content, until the glass, is over.
Suppose we have a dripping spout and place a glass underneath to fill it.
When we send content to our readers, it is like filling that glass.
The glass is how it is the trust that we have with our user and in every drop that drops we bring the content of great value and educational.
As we educate our reader, we can go offering our products or services to anyone who wants to learn more and move faster you can do in the hands of someone who has been through it.
To be practical, you are not going to conquer your girl before you know who you are or have not talked.
So try not to offer a product without having contributed a lot of value, send three or four educational drops that generate a minimum confidence.
We can conclude that to contribute 80% of the content of great value and 20% where you offer your products or make known your services.
Try to be persistent and clear about your subject where you are an expert; it is better to give more and better free content than to stay short.
Create a constant dialogue is key, it’s like a conversation in a bar. This will serve you to iterate about the creation and improvement of your info product.
And when the glass is full, and after that, you manage to convert a subscriber into a client.
Now fill your glass with wine and … Cheers!
Once you have done this, you should start working on your client’s lifetime (also known as customer lifetime value).
But this is a separate chapter, which I will tell you on another occasion.
I leave you a gift before you leave and then it touches you.
I wanted to tell you this because I’m in the process of creating my email sequence and very soon I’ll be rolling around, so I hope you can take advantage of these ideas.
As I already mentioned you could subscribe to my blog, Read the strategies to Increase Visibility and position yourself as an expert where I’ll tell you the steps I am following before the launch of my blog and those to come.
Now tell me what your experience is with automating your sales and sending educational content to your readers.
How do you think you’re doing them today? Has it cost you to create the process?
Have not you done it yet? What is holding you back?
